While today Phomola Manor is an exclusive Big 5 holiday home welcoming travellers from South Africa and beyond to experience the beauty of Limpopo, its origins were humble to say the least. Over thirty years ago, the story of the Manor began in the heart of Mr. Venter and a simple green shed.

Over time, with lots of sweat and love, this modest home was transformed into a destination offering authentic bushveld experiences. With open borders to the famous Kruger National Park, guests are invited to embark on a private, off-the-grid luxury experience in the heart of the bushveld at Phomola Manor.

Guests at the manor house are greeted by the stunning beauty of the Grietjie Private Nature Reserve and the Balule Private Nature Reserve. As both reserves continue to create the pathways that allow Phomola Manor to greet its visitors, guests can sit back and unwind from the stresses of daily life. Here, the sound of nature set the pace, and one of the four air-conditioned bedrooms becomes home.

Each of the four available rooms has been specially designed to ensure a comfortable and luxurious stay for even the most discerning traveller. Every room features an en-suite bathroom as well as thoughtfully added details such as tea and coffee stations, streaming TVs for effortless movie nights, mini-fridges to quench thirsts, and soft percale bedding, sending every guest into a state of absolute bliss.

Two of the bedrooms are located inside the manor, allowing for easy access to communal areas and help from management. Meanwhile, the other two are semi-detached, opening onto the deck, infinity pool and a braai area. While guests usually book these rooms separately, the team at Phomola allows guests to book the manor for exclusive use, allowing for the perfect family-friendly bushveld holiday.

Facilities and Activities for Everyone



Whilst staying at the luxurious manor, guests are welcome to make use of the stellar facilities and amenities. From the elevated viewing deck and its infinity pool, large herds of elephants have been spotted during their journey to the nearby waterhole nestled outside the main entrance. Guests are also welcome to craft delicious meals together within the fully equipped kitchen and the outdoor braai area.

At Phomola Manor, one cannot forget about the bounty of activities. Enjoy the splash pool or treatments at the Grietjie spa. Game drives, birdwatching and hot air balloon rides have also remained popular among past guests.
