Cape St Francis Resort has expanded

One of the Eastern Cape’s premier holiday destinations, Cape St Francis Resort, has recently added a new, two storey building to its variety of accommodation options.

The freshly launched Geelbek, is part of their Club Break apartments and consists of ten twin and double self catering rooms with large walk-in-shower en-suite bathrooms - perfect for couples,families,friends and business travellers alike. A beach cottage theme prevails in the furniture and decor with laminated wooden flooring while the open plan layout and light pastel coloured finishes maintain a sense of freedom. The upper level enjoys a communal deck area which is ideal for a relaxing cocktail while surveying a view of the resort.

Other accommodation options include the luxury Beach Break villa style accommodation, the family orientated Village Break beach cottage accommodation,the affordable Club Break apartment accommodation and the popular Backpackers accommodation.

Add to this the resort’s proximity to an idyllic beach,their sparkling pool facilities,the extensive Joe Fish Bar & Restaurant area,their tempting Hibiscus Health and Beauty Studio and a convenient shop at reception makes you all set for the perfect break with all you may need within walking distance!

For my one night stay, I opted for a Village Break three bedroomed, double storey, self catering unit, which boasted one double and one twin en-suite bedroom – both with balcony’s, on the upper level, and a twin room with a separate bathroom on the lower level. The up-stairs rooms, both with open plan en-suites were large and welcoming with the open roof extenuating the space. The neatly appointed open plan lounge and dining room area led off to the fully equipped kitchen and opened up onto a private patio with quaint cottage garden. I can recommend this setting for a great weekend away for a large family or perhaps three couples who’d like to spend some relaxing time together!

Cape St Francis Resort can also host weddings and conferences and offer a multitude of activities, both in house and arranged.

As always, we in the Eastern Cape all live within an hour of some of the most beautiful scenery and facilities in the world, and Cape St Francis Resort offers a great option to stay and relax or to base yourself at in order to find these gems and explore the Kromme River and Kouga Region.
