Booking time slots between Mon-Fri and Sun: Morning slot (09:00 - 11:30); Midday slot (11:30 - 14:00); Afternoon slot (14:00 - 16:30). As per our Refunds Policy, it is advisable to use the voucher within 60 days of purchase.

Exhilarating day-out
Dodge, hide, shoot, reload - and do it again at Paintball Heaven

Every first quarter, we go for our annual action-packed teambuilding outing to Paintball Heaven. This is the time of year when you’ll find everyone in our office being extra nice to some of our sharp-eyed colleagues – hoping to either join their team or to just be on their good side. This year again, as over the past few years, we had an absolute blast!

We arrived for the early morning slot and the Paintball Heaven staff helped us form two teams. They then took our group of about 30 people through to kit-up, dressing each team in a different colour.

Once we were all kitted, we sat down for a quick safety briefing. Since Paintball Heaven prioritises delivering the best experiences in a safe environment, they make it easy for anyone – whether amateur or pro, guy or lady, young or old, to enjoy paintball as a pastime activity.

Before getting onto the battlefield – there are about six fields offering bush, urban and concrete environments, we were each given a chance to do some target practice, to get a feel of our paintball guns and to perfect our aim. Finally, it was game on!

Trust me; paintball is way better than your PlayStation or Xbox. I could feel adrenalin pumping through my veins in each battle as I dodged flying bullets, returned fire and tried to out-manoeuvre snipers from the other team in order to grab a flag in the middle of the field, which is the objective. The field environments alone were unpredictable and presented many obstacles and challenges, which forces you to work with your team and come up with strategies on the go.
A referee from Paintball Heaven is always on hand throughout the day to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Exhausted and many of us with new colour schemes on their clothing, we set up a braai in their entertainment area, where we relaxed and bragged about our spectacular shots and bruises. It was clear that we all had loads of fun and I can’t wait for next year’s outing!

Paintball is a great way to literally blow off some steam and is a fun way to get to know your colleagues a little better. At Paintball Heaven they also cater for adult and kids’ birthday parties, corporate groups, team building and bachelor parties.
