The Tin House in Riebeek Kasteel is a Magical Stay
It is seldom that upon arrival, one instantly gets a sense of enchantment; I experienced this during my stay at the Tin House located in the quaint town of Riebeek Kasteel. This establishment has managed to keep its charm and character throughout the years.
Named after Jan van Riebeeck, the town is one of the oldest within South Africa and is located 80km north-east of Cape Town. Several top wineries and olive oil producing companies can be found nearby.
This self-catering accommodation has antiques everywhere you look; it really manages to capture the essence of the surroundings. The attention to detail throughout the establishment is very impressive. A colourful assortment of various items are found throughout, each captivating in their own way.
